Here we are again with the big numbers. Yes, invoicing is said very quickly in e-commerce and it is much easier than actually making money. Which is obviously essential because otherwise all this makes no sense. The figure at the level of contribution margin would be about 250k which no longer sounds so good but oh well. You have to start somewhere.
How we came up with these figures
To start with we looked by product category or aggregated by brand what we have invoiced last year. In this way we already have a guiding point from which we can start.
Then we looked at the stock we have or what is overseas data about to arrive because of course. You cannot sell more than you have.
And finally we have based ourselves on our intuition. What sales capacity will we have this year?
What we need to achieve them
To start with a bit of luck. But it is not surprising apps to watch series and movies because luck catches you working. In 2024 we have worked well. Could we have done more? Of course, that is always possible, but we certainly haven’t wasted the time available.
We also need buyers
How much money do people have this year compared tg data to last year? Possibly a little less, or at least the willingness to spend due to global insecurity will be higher.
At the product and stock level, we are prepared. This week we will receive a huge order from China. Let’s see how things go.
It’s fun to do these kinds of exercises. Then comparing estimates with reality always allows us to learn and plan better for the future. Let’s see if Santa Claus brings us lots of sales this Christmas.
