The pains of the old website
The client had several reasons for creating new websites. The original ones were not very clear, full of diverse content. But above all, they did not meet the current needs of users in terms of technology and structure. If you needed to know more than whether it would rain at the cottage this weekend, you had to search for more professional information for a long time and with difficulty.
Given the robustness of the website and the twitter database complexity of the entire process, the marketing people came to the conclusion that they needed professional partners to commission a new website. This was the right moment for us, because we are like fish in water in large-scale input studies.
In the tender, we offered a price 25% lower than the client’s budget. We won the competition and got to work.
Take it as the right end
Such a large project needed to be divided into several phases. We started with proven steps.
- We introduced the client to our process and made it clear to them what we would need from them and when.
- Together, we have set 8 target groups for whom we are creating the website:
- regular users
- people with a deeper interest in sell vintage like a pro with these 10 essential ideas weather. Boat owners, skiers, balloonists, air traffic control workers, healthcare workers, etc.
- We created a structure.
The next phase lasted several weeks. We helped the client clarify which existing content would need to be transferred to the new pages and according taiwan data to what key it should be divided. We went through the original texts page by page and sorted them according to the new structure.
An important step was also the strategy for how we will work with third-party applications that enter the website’s functions.
Live process
On the client side, many people from different fields who work with it on a daily basis had something to say about the new website. We therefore proceeded interactively so as not to forget anyone or anything.
- We met once a week and proceeded interactively.
- We involved the client in the entire process so that a joint work was created that they would be 100% satisfied with.
- The client created a so-called “web group” on its side – consisting of specialists in key fields – meteorology, climatology, hydrology, etc. Their task was to ensure that the right content was created on the new website based on their specialization.
